I am about to fish a tournament, so I don’t have time to get this reel fixed professionally. The problem is that the bail wire keeps snapping out of the hole on the side the line runs through. If nothing else, is it safe to superglue it back in?
Thank you

Clean the parts with denatured alcohol and use 5 minute two stage epoxy. After the tourney you can soak the parts in acetone which will soften the glue then you disassmble it and have it repaired properly.
Superglue will not work unless the parts are very tight fitting.

Email this guy. His name is David and is top notch with rods and reels. Let him know your circumstances and he will help you out.
    Good luck!!

What with a tourney comin’ up ya’ may have a problem but I don’t think Super Glue is the answer (bail may be bent?). When it comes ta’ glue (if ya’ go that way) I would use what is called Loctite, mucho’ stronger then Super Glue. Good luck, not only fixin’ your reel but the tournament itself ;)…
