It really depends on what you are fishing for,but one of the most versitale lures I use is a “dick nite”its a small spoon,usually painted in bright or pastel colors,I have caught a ton of trout,shad,pikeminnow,salmon,steelhead,a… even a sturgeon on them.The cost about 2 bucks.If theyre not available where you are Cabelas carries them.
Fly fishing will catch more fish than lures. Streamers will work almost any time. Nymphs and dry flies will work when there is a hatch.

Yo Zuri’s, Rappalas, super duper’s are good for trout. Some people say that rubber worms are good but ive never caught anything on them.
