I’m not quite sure, but I’d say that yes they do. I’ve heard it somewhere. I’m pretty sure that Daiwa makes Cabela’s reels, FYI. I know it’s not a 100% helpful, but may be something.

it is open bail type and i am puttin spider wire on it (is that any good) and i also need tips on how to catch largemouth bass like what type of bait to use or whatever

He past away at age 99 and I would like to know more information on it

Use this combo ( I have two just alike ) for Spinner baits, Jigs, Buzzbaits, C Rig., Texas Rig.
Most of the time the reels have 14# Vicious, or Sufix line spooled on them. Got some P-line Halo I am going to try.
Would not be afraid to use this rig on any fresh water fish, but is mainly used for Black Bass.

You did not mention weather you wanted a bait caster or a spinning reel.
The link I gave you carries both.
Spend as much as you can afford to on a reel, it will pay in the long run, and they are easier to use than a cheap one.
