I am new to carp fishing, and want to know how to use a shimano bait runner reel that I have just aquired.

Once love sets its hook it just knocks you on your bass.

I have a 125 gallon aquarium and i would like to breed some red shiners in it. I am wondering how to breed these fish. Some of the information I need is what do these fish eat, what water temperature is best, how long it takes to breed, how many to start out with, and what species of shiner is best for a beginner (red/gold)

I live in NJ and taking a trip to florida and im just wondering what the best baits are to catch any type of fish in florida. Also if you have specific baits for specific fish please let me know. Im SALTWATER FISHING!!!! thanks

We usually use live spot and a thin long strip of squid, but we’ve had little luck getting any flounders around the pilings and other underwater structures this year. We’re fishing the Chesapeake Bay, Virginia, along the Hampton Roads Bridge tunnel islands, etc. If you have rigging advice, please, be as specific as possible. I’m not very advanced in fishing and am trying to learn. Thanks!

Don’t watch the quiver tip, instead point the rod down the line, then engage the bait runner facility on the reel. Adjust the bait runner tension to what you require then clip a bobbin onto your line between reel and the first rod ring.
When a fish takes, your bobbin rises and the bait runner allows line to be taken from the reel. Pick up your rod, wind the reel handle to disengage baitrunner mode and lift into the running fish. FISH ON!

Need one that can bring in all fish size from Crappie- Walleye for not that much money 50-$100 ……. probably be shopinf at Basspro,walmart,Meijer,Cabelas or Dick’s sporting goods.

I would like to try fishing for trout or bass, what are some good baits?

I going fishing all the time and just recently started using gulp bait shrimp which work really well on trout. But i was wondering if i should try a different shape gulp bait like a crab or squid if i am targeting red fish.
Please let me know if any one has any experience with this.
