I’m trying to look into fishing in the mission bay area, preferably close to the Bahia. I am hoping to be able to fish from the shore and have some fun catching some interesting fish, or any kind of fish, really I just want to drink beer and fishing goes very will with that. Its much better however if fish are actually being pulled in. So I guess I’d just like to know if there are any good spots to do this in the area and where they are. Suggestions on tackle would also be greatly appreciated, thanks.

i have been to feather river and sac. river and had a great experience there. is there anywhere else that has good fishing?

What is a good saltwater rod to setup with a baitcasting reel. I plan on doing some charter boat fishing. I want a rod thats affordable but thick and strong and sturdy. Id like the closest thing to an all purpose saltwater rod that can handle calico bass to yellowfin tuna, live baitin and iron jigging. Able to hold heavy 12 plus oz. lures for deep waters. I think you get the picture by now. Any recommendations will help.

Im just wondering if i can use yo yo automatic reels for fishing in california saltwater and Freshwater bodies. Thank you.

I’m in the Fallbrook/ Rainbow area and I’m looking for a good area to go backpacking and fishing, fly fishing or conventional, does’nt matter, but I’m wondering if there is anything around here or If I’m going to have to go out a ways or not. Thanks

What species of fish is good for commercial fishing in northern california

I just moved to Orange county not too long ago and I am trying to find a good place to do some recreational fishing. I am ok with ocean fishing or freshwater as long as the bite is good. I used to go to mission bay in San Diego a lot, but the only places I can find so far around Orange County are the lakes they stock with Trout and Catfish, but charge $20 a day to go. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My husband and I love to Kayak but he now has his kayak set up for fishing and I am not coordinated enough to fish and kayak. He is trying to find people to go out ocean fishing with that know what they are doing. Are there any such clubs or organizations?
