i am looking for a dependable fishing rod and reel combo for cheap, preferable from bass pro.

i go fishing in the kansas river at a certain place where there a rock dam…and the water is up and theres a heavy current. i want to know where the fish would be located and where to cast and what to use for bait

I am for the first time, makeing my own stink bait to fish with, i dont know how mutch weight to put on my line. I plan to fish on the kankakee river, we landed 7 catfish on nightcrawlers, but i plan to use stink bait this time, i wan to catch a big one.

the rod is a seven ft. and is a medium/heavy action rod im gonna be fishing for bass and walleye. what reel will fit it?

I am going fishing for bass and catfish in a pond in the morning about 6 or 7. I am going to use night crawlers on the bottom and bread at the top for the catfish (4 sum reason bread always seem to work for catfish in this pond) and I am going to use top water lures like the torpedo and the popper for the bass. Any ideas or tips is really appreciated thanks.

The cats in the river I believe are channel cats. I will be bank fishing. What type of pole do I need? reel? line? lure? bait?
I’ve fished for trout/steelhead/salmon/sturgeon in the past so I’m not new to fishing I’m just new to fishing for cats.
