i am looking for a dependable fishing rod and reel combo for cheap, preferable from bass pro.

I got mine yesterday, I am very new a fishing. But I knew I could possibly put it together in less than half a hour.
Any tips, Or Videos.

and the anti-reverse is broken (their site says i cant return it)
and i wanna know if there is a cheap fix to it the anti-reverse always skips when i reverse or it usually doesnt work (and yes its on not off)

That would depend on your reel. If the reel is very old ( a collectible) or the company who made the reel is no longer in excistence, you may have a small problem. Start with local bait shops and then work into the online stuff. Sometimes you can find what you need for a lot cheaper in the real world. If that doesn’t pan out, go online and do a search. If that doesn’t pan out, go to the fishing sites and forums. You might get lucky. If all else fails, try the auction sites like ebay. You might have to buy the entire reel but you will definitely have alot of spare parts and nothing to worry about for a long time. Other places to consider, pawn shops, flea markets and or making one your own at a machine shop. Custom knob…cool.
