I’m wondering what type or brand name of line to use on my reel that won’t snag, tangle, or break easily and one I can make good leader lines out of.

I got 60 lb test spider line now and a spinner reel. Sound good?

My Answer:
Put fishingline in deep water because salt is denser than water and will sink to the bottom, so fish that live in salty water will be depper down.

I took off the old line because it was to weak and I want to change it but I dont know how to Tie the Know and have a reel. I dont even know how to pull in the string,like i Know how toturn the knob/handle but I cant get the string to come back.Teach me or give me website to go to please. Thanks

the whole line thing is in, it came that way, but like when i go to reel it in, the string just spins and builds up and it isnt being reeled in. what do i do? i tried looking it up online and i cant find anything specific

I fish an Lake ontario and the Erie canal and some other pplaces. I live in NY. Should my line be 8 pounds or like 14?

my girlfriend is going to get me some new line for valentines day. she bought me a spinning setup for worm fishing and a baitcast reel. im gonna get a 7 foot rod for fishing in the weeds and other cover.

I was recently clearing out my parents loft and I come across an old 7ft fly rod and reel with an AFTM of just 3/4# which used to belong to my late father, but I’m guessing that this is a bit too light for a trout Stillwater, would you say?
