im a guy who never learned how to fish. i have a fishing liciense and a new rod&reel but how do you catch fish? i will be doing mostly river fishing. how do i set up my line? any basic tips would be appriciated.

Do I need a fishing licence in Scotland?

My budget is tight so im holding it to under $150 and can you tell me good fishing line at that lenght.

Ive havent fished in 20 years so dont want to spend a fortune incase i end up not enjoying it.

I’m going to my first canyon tuna fishing trip (for Yellowfin, Longfin, Bigeye Tuna, Swordfish, and Mahi) in NJ. I prefer to buy my own gear however found some sets to be in the $1000 range. The Skipper says 80 lb class tackle is needed. This it’s a good choice if I throw on some 50 to 80 lb test? Thanks in advance!

I’ve only done course fishing in England and not a great deal so am not sure what type of set-up i need. I’ve borrowed a rod but can i just use lures and if so what type and yeah, i just really don’t have much of a clue

I’ve tried fishing many times with my copper fishing rod on Harvest Moon DS, but i never catch anything. Am i supposed to buy a pond from Gotz, or do i just need the small pond that already comes with the house? Please answer.
