I am using an 7′ mediam action ugly stick rod with a spin cast reel. My line is 15 lb with a leader line of 14 lb. Any suggestion as to what rod(brand) would be best suited for salmon fishing?

I have small spinning reels I usually use for smaller rivers or the bigger spinning reels I use for surf fishing… I was maybe thinking of putting 20pound spiderwire on a small reel and use a light rod…. All suggestions welcome! Thanks!

Does anyone know a good reputable outfit that I should look into? I am looking for something that is reasonably price for a week of stay for my wife, a 7 yrs old, and I including room, meals and 5 days of chartered fishing trips. I have seen prices ranging from $800 to $3000. I prefer to keep it between $1,200 to $1,500 max per person double occupancy.
