I’m heading down to the Outer Banks in North Carolina for vacation for a week in July. I’m staying in a sound front house and to avoid walking over to the beach all the time I was hoping to do some fishing in the sound. I am used to bass fishing in my local reservoir and have no experience with fishing the sound. If anyone has any experience with fishing in the sound I would love to get some tips and suggestions. Thanks a lot.
And can I use a regular rod and reel with them? How? I am fishing still waters.
it is open bail type and i am puttin spider wire on it (is that any good) and i also need tips on how to catch largemouth bass like what type of bait to use or whatever
Heading up this upcoming weekend to some streams in Erie, pretty much right by the lake.
I’m somewhat new at all this and I was wondering if anybody has any tips when it comes to the type of bait that could work well this time of year.
- I’m not fly fishing.
Any type/color of little jigs work? I’ve mainly used salmon eggs or wax worms the few times I’ve gone.
I just moved to Great Falls, MT from Minnesota and I’m not used to the type of fishing out here. In Minnesota I mostly fished lakes and had a boat. I’m interested in how to fish the Missouri from shore and what sort of lures I should be using for different types of fish. I’m not even sure what kinds of fish are present here. Thanks.
I have started fly fishing and want some tips on what to do once I have done my cast. What is the best way to reel in or what leaders can give me the best results.
Thanks
I’m going to be fishing on a canal tonight off of a small dock. I would like to catch some Snook. If not, what do you think would be easier? What line or lures should I use? Is there a certain rod/reel that I should use? I just need as many tips as I can get to catch some good fish.
I have used 20, 30 and 40lb test line and have broke poles when I reel in a 8lb fish. I am confused.
I am going to a carp busters fishing comp this week end and any ideas would be great ( i live in Australia).
Thanks in advance
