I’m looking to spend around $100 on a combo, and i would like to know which would be a good choice for me. I fish of piers and occasionally go sail fishing.
I’m fairly new to saltwater fishing and I’m looking for a general good-quality rod/reel combo without having to break the piggy bank, a rod that would stand up to the abuse of a trout, snook, or redfish. I’ve heard Wright and McGill, Ugly Stik, St. Croix; the list goes on… someone help me out. The info would be much appreciated. Thanx!!! ^__^!!!
i normally fish freshwater. i like to fish for every kind of fish. the only rods ive ever really used are spincast reels but im willing to try something new.i normally fish off the shore or a dock. the bait i use the most is nightcrawlers but i do own alot of crainkbaits and spinnerbaits and use them sometimes.
I need to purchase some rod and reels. I want the best combo for the best price. I do not want too spend hundreds of dollars on each combo. I need 2 for Red fishing, and 2 for trolling in the ocean for larger fish. What are some inexpensive reliable combos i should purchase
I am fishing stupid. My 11 year old Loves to fish off the Juno Pier. For Christmas I would like to buy him a good fishing set up. (last year he caught snook but they kept getting away so I don’t think he has a good set up now) Can someone give me the names of rods and reels I should be looking for? Thank You
I want to take up fishing as I live close to a river, I know how to fish as I learned when I was younger. My problem is that I have no idea what type of rod to buy. The rules on fishing in this river say no spinning, bait fishing only and no floats. This river has Salmon, Perch, and Pike. I have no idea if that helps but I’ll tell you anyway. I had no idea how many types of rods there were and I need some help.
Thanks In Advance,
JD
I have some fishing experience and I want to fish of an ocean peir. What type of rod/reel combo should I get, and any specific models?
It is ussally tan and it has two breast pockets that hang out of the shirt (unlike conventional shirts the poackets are not on the inside)– its like a fishing/safari shirt– does anyone know what it is called?
Thanks
San Diego County, temperatures are mild. My experience fishing is in deeper water and colder climates. Is this pond is deep enough for a little fishing pond?
