i am looking for a dependable fishing rod and reel combo for cheap, preferable from bass pro.

I’m fairly new to saltwater fishing and I’m looking for a general good-quality rod/reel combo without having to break the piggy bank, a rod that would stand up to the abuse of a trout, snook, or redfish. I’ve heard Wright and McGill, Ugly Stik, St. Croix; the list goes on… someone help me out. The info would be much appreciated. Thanx!!! ^__^!!!

I need to know how much it would cost for an out of state saltwater fishing liscense would cost in North Carolina?

How would you get a job on one of those boats that pays really well like a crabbing vessel or a fishing boat? One of those big ones that goes out & stays out on the ocean for quite a while.
Does anyone have any idea on how much they make & how to search for a job there? Maybe a keyword for an internet search, too.

I have gone through thousands of fishing websites and they are relatively the same. Some don’t even feel right just to be clicking on the links. So what I did was went out and bought a 5 page website, totally blank. It’s gonna be a fishing site but I don’t want it to end up like the others, I need fresh ideas. What would you all like to see on a fishing site?

I currently go coarse fishing but have always wanted to try pike fishing in the winter months can anyone give me advise on how much it should cost me for rod’ reel and bits i was hoping 100 pound would give me a start up since that would be my limit on budget.

For fishing reels, would WD-40 be as good a lube for a reel? there is a lube sold specificallly for reels, but I am just wonderinf if WD-40 will work just as well?

What would you do if you saw a guy fishing and there was a rooster sitting on top of his head?

I enjoy fishing but lack success. However, I noticed that others, only a few feet away, often have a large catch. Additionally, if i place the barrel of a weapon in the water and fire, what would happen, to both me and the fish? Is there any way to scare the fish by shooting in close proximity, without actually injuring them?

Im into trout fishing and all of their favorite lures are too light to cast more than 10-15 feet without putting a weight on it. I dont want to put a weight on it so I have to get the reel that can cast very light lures the farthest. Which is the best?
p.s.- Im fishing for rainbow trout and using 2-4 lb line and an 1/8oz spinner
